Afganski Russian Pomegranate

The Afganski Pomegranate produces large fruits with deep red arils that are juicy and flavorful. The arils have a sweet-tart taste with a hint of berry-like flavor, making them highly enjoyable for fresh eating. A great choice for the hot and humid southeast. This variety was selected in Russia for its cold hardiness, productivity and delicious fruits. Plants are easily hardy to 0º F.
