Shipping Information

General Shipping Info

We do not ship to CA, HI, AZ, ID or AK. We can not ship to PO Boxes.

We ship plants in the Spring and Fall, with some winter shipping to milder climates. We generally do not ship during the summer as it makes the plants quite sad to be cooped up in boxes at such high temperatures, and may even kill them if transit takes too long.

  • Spring Shipping time frame: early February - end of May
  • Fall Shipping time frame: mid September - early November

If you complete an order outside of these time frames, we will assess the weather conditions in all relevant locations and either ship out your plants or hold them until it's safe to let them travel. We will of course be in touch with you throughout this process.

Shipping rates are calculated in your cart at checkout and based on your order total. Please make sure you have entered your shipping information correctly and, most importantly, your street address, zip code, and state.

If you have entered incorrect information or need to change the address we are shipping to, we reserve the right to charge you for the new address’s updated shipping cost. If the value is less to the revised address, we will refund you the difference. 

Reminder: we are not Amazon. We are a small business that ships living beings. Your plants may arrive a little wilted or with yellowing leaves from the stress of the journey. Your plants may also have been trimmed or pruned prior to shipping. This helps them on their trip and will stimulate growth if you plant them within a reasonable time frame of receiving your plants. 

 

Problems with your order?

Plants become the property of the customer upon delivery. Please check your order as soon as you receive it to make sure all items are included and accounted for. Notify us immediately if the plants experienced excessive damage in transit. Send photos to hello@newearthnursery.com within 7 days and we will follow up accordingly. Replacements can be sent for damaged plants if they are available, otherwise store credit will be issued for the price of the plant.
