New Earth Nursery is a family owned and operated plant nursery located in the Piedmont region of North Georgia. We have a deep passion for the principles of permaculture and regenerative growing practices. Synthetic fertilizers and toxic pesticides are nowhere to be found here, as we prefer to allow Nature itself to make the plants strong and hardy.
The humans behind this operation are Chris and Brooke Phillips. Since 2020, we have been steadily learning, designing, planting, experimenting with, and growing several temperate food forests here in Zone 8. The offerings in our nursery are largely from the abundance those mother plants have provided. We only sell the plants that have grown well here in our climate.
The original intention behind our food forest was to practice a bit more self-sufficiency, self-reliance, and sustainability in the face of the increasing chaos of the world. Learning how to speak the language of the Natural world and work alongside it, as an integral strand of the web and not an outsider, became the most common sense path towards realizing those goals. Our mission is to empower you to be more involved in the nourishment of yourself, your loved ones, and the land that sustains you. These are ancient skills that we hope to do our part in returning to this modern world.
