Blue False Indigo

This deep rooted native prairie species is very drought tolerant and an excellent companion plant to any young fruit tree. Bees love its beautiful blueish purple flowers that bloom in spring. Can also be used to make indigo dye and has often been used as a substitute for the true Indigofera. We plant this tough nitrogen fixer as a companion plant near each of our keystone species. Drought tolerant.

Arrives in a well rooted 3.5" x 5" pot.
