Scarlet Rose Mallow (as known as Texas Star Hibiscus or Swamp Hibiscus) is a strikingly beautiful herbaceous perennial native to the wetlands and swamps of the southeastern United States. This plant is highly valued for its large, vibrant red flowers that resemble a star in full bloom. Like other hibiscus flowers, this beauty adds a touch of the tropics to your landscape. Grows well in swamps, marshes, and ditches of the coastal plains. Great for erosion control along banks and for planting in areas with poor drainage as it loves wet soils. Also a hit with pollinators such as hummingbirds and butterflies. 

Arrives well-rooted in a 3.5” x 5” pot.
